- Guidance only:-Indicates personal guidance from the
supervisors only and no lab/library facilities.
- Guidance with facilities :-Indicates all types of guidance
along with use of library(reference only)/lab facilities.
- Guidance with facilities and training:-Indicates intensive
training in emerging areas(project area only) such as Embedded System etc in addition
to guidance and other lab/library facilities.

Rules and Regulations

The supervisors will be allotted as per the requirement of the students from the
panel of expert approved by The Director , IHRD. |
|
2 |
The project topic should be approved one, by project supervisor. |
|
3 |
The student can do their project work only in the institution at which he/she is
directed to do the same by The Deputy Director, Rgional Centre, IHRD, Thiruvananthapuram. |

Project fees has to be paid in advance before the commencement of the project and
it is not refundable under any circumstances. |
|
5 |
The students interested to do project work should apply in the prescribed application
form along with a demand draft for Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) drawn in favour of
the Deputy Director , Regional Center, IHRD payable at Thiruvanthapuram to

The students can take away the finishing product of the project work they have done
only if all the materials used for the product are purchased and provided by themseves.If
any of the part used is from the institution then the product is property of Regional
Centre , IHRD,Thiruvananthapuram. |

The fees mentioned above is the course fee for the project work and it does not
include the cost of the materials/consumables/others for the project proposed. |

8 |
One copy of the project report finished in all sense should be handed over to the
Regional Centre of IHRD,Thiruvananthapuram for placing in the library for reference
purpose. |

9 |
The finding -recommendations made in the project report shall be made use of IHRD
if required. |

10 |
In the case of students who register under the category 'guidance only' the guidance
will be limited to supervisor's assistance, approval of the project formaulation
and of final product. No use of lab,library and other facilities of the institution
will be provided .In other two categories library(for reference only),lab and other
facilities will be available, wherever necessary, for the use of the students.. |

If any of the product or its parts of the project work is patented in future,it
should be with the prior sanction from the Deputy Director,Regional Centre , IHRD,Thiruvananthapuram. |

For the services such as photocopying etc, availed by the students, on the spot
payment as per the rates prevading in the institution have to be made. |
