Introduction to PC:- Hardware
& Software & application software.
- Digital Electronics
& Microprocessor:- Concept of Binary Systems, Concept of Microprocessors.
- PC Hardware Components:- Introduction to CPU, RAM, Secondary
storage, input/output devices.
- Networking:- Concept of digital & analog signals, Unix
OS, Transmission media, Access methods, Repeaters, Network OS, Features of
Netware, Internet.

90 hours Spread over a period of three months. |

Eligibility of Admission
:
|
3 year Diploma in any discipline or
B.S.c degree with knowledge of using computer. |
- Eligibility of Course Certificate :
|
Minimum 75% attendance and a pass in evaluation test. |

Fee to be paid at the time of admission . (Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances)

IHRD
do not allow any educational concession/exemption from payment of fee to he students
studying for the course. But the SC/ST/ OEC candidates shall be provisionally exempted
from payment of the prescribed fees provided they submit application for educational
concession from the Scheduled Caste Development Department in the prescribed form
along with the supporting documents within 15 days from the date of commencement
of the regular classes. If they fail to do so, they should pay the prescribed fees.
The sanctioning of educational concession to the above categories of students will
be subject to Government order issued by SC Development Department from time to time.

8% of the intake is
reserved for SC candidates and 2% to ST candidates . The unavailed seat if
any under SC quota will go to the ST quota and vice versa. |

Completed applications and
the attested copies of documents to prove educational qualification should reach
the Deputy Director , Regional Centre of IHRD on or before specified date. |
