Regional Centre of IHRD

Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram

The Institute of Human Resources Development ( IHRD ), a unique autonomous institute established by the Government of Kerala, is a network of academic, research and development institutions extending over different districts of Kerala; with head quarters at Thiruvananthapuram. The IHRD was established in the year 1987 and has grown up to a stature and more than 60 institutions including Engineering Colleges, Model Polytechnics, Regional Centres and Applied Science Colleges are under the agies of the institute.

The Regional Centre of IHRD at Thiruvananthapuram was started in 1995. In this centre, Post Graduate Diploma courses and various short term programs and special training programs catering to the needs of unemployed youth are being conducted. Those who are possessing PGDCA certification from IHRD institutes are eligible for lateral entry for MCA course under different Universities.

The centre currently provides elaborate facilities for both Electronics and Computer Software related Academic Projects for various institutions under IHRD and other Universities as well.
